Francis's Story

My Grandfather was big man, very strict. He never spoke about the war to his children. Now that his grandchildren are trying to find out about their family history no one knows very much. I have found he was in the Royal Munster Fusiliers 4th Brigade. and was a sargent. Francis (Frank) Marrett enlisted in July 1913. Under age.

Admired by all his children. He never spoke about the war. He was a big man with a big heart.

God bless you Dad.
