Clarence was a Private Rifleman. He was a member of the Queen Victoria's Rifles 1st/9th Bn. He as born in 1898 and died in the Battle of the Somme on September 10th, 1916. He is on the Memorial Pier in the Thiepval Memorial - Pier and Face 9 C.
