To Gt Gt Uncle Jack I never knew you but your name is not forgotton niether is your brother Percy and alll the fallen of 2nd Batt the Worcestershire Regiment

Serjeant Jack dart Routledge 9848, 3rd Bn., Worcestershire Regiment died 7th Novemeber 1914 and is remebered on the Menin Gate at Ypres.

His Brother in Law was RSM Charles Edmund Hodgkinson DSO of the 2nd Batt. we have no known photos of Jack.
