Henry's Story

My special memory is of finding his grave in the small town of Ath in Belgium and of showing my father the photographs of the grave. It choked him up.

Henry was buried in a row of military graves contained within a civilian cemetery.

My Grandfather fought throughout the duration of WW1 before dying of pneumonia in Belgium.
