Fred's Story

Middlesex Regiment G/2752

A special grandfather

Volunteering in August 1914, he was drafted to France in the following July. During the three and a half years service overseas he participated in many important engagements and was wounded three times.

In February 1919 he was demobilised holding the 1915-1918 Star, General Service and Victory medals
