Charles's Story
My Great Great Uncle Charles Cope was born on the 16th January 1898 in Chorlton on Medlock, Manchester son of Charles Cope and Esther Hannah Cope nee Eckersall. Charles died on the 31st March 1918 in France aged 20. He is one of many who have no known grave and is named on the wall of the POZIERES MEMORIAL, France.
