Lancelot Charles's Story
Joined up in 1916 at the age of 35 and he was drafted to the Machine Gun Corps. He was killed on 17 September 1917 and he is buried in the Mendinghem Military Cemetery close to Ypres where he fell.
Unfortunatelyhe died before I was born.
