William Albert Samuel's Story
William died of his wounds at Horton War Hospital, Epsom, on the 8th December 1918. He never married. I have been unable to locate his grave, but his name is on the war memorial at Arno's Vale cemetery in Bristol. William served with the 8th battalion of the Somerset light infantry.
