Thomas Charles's Story

Two sons never came back; Thomas was one of those, and he is remembered at the Arras Memorial.

Thomas Charles Woods, of the London Regiment, Post Office Rifles 1st/8th Battalion, was one of Annie and William Woods' three sons who went to war. Two sons never came back; Thomas was one of those, and he is remembered at the Arras Memorial. He was husband to Nellie Gertrude Woods of Sutton Buildings, Rotherhithe, London, and he is the great uncle of Kevin Woods. Thomas is remembered on the war memorial at Southwark Cathedral.
