Leonard's Story
My great-uncle Leonard died on 16 September 1916 after serving with the 23rd (County of London) Battalion.
I did not know my great-uncle Leonard as he died when he was only 20 years old. He entered the army on 10 October 1915 and died on 16 September 1916 after serving with the 23rd (County of London) Battalion. I hope to visit the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France as soon as I can. He was my great-grandfather's brother.
