Joe's Story

Joe was my grandfather he was one of five brothers on the western front during the great war he was discharged in 1917 after being wounded three of his brothers were also wounded and the fourth John was killed at the battle of loos in 1915.

He never spoke about his experiences but when the service of rememberance was on the tv he would sit with tears running down his face
