Adam's Story
Today we remember drumer Adem Galt of 7th Battalion,Argyll and sutherland and highlanders, who was Killed in action on the 26th April 1915. He resided at Union place, Lennoxtown and, in civilian life, was an apprentice in the hand engraving section of the plate cutting department in lennox Mill. Drummer Galt is remembered with honour at the Seaforth cemetery, cheder villa, near Ypres in Belgium.
