Harry's Story
Unfortunately I never got to know my Grandfather and I have no memories to write as he was killed at the battle of the Somme on Monday 16th October 1916 twentytwo years before my birth.
He left behind a wife Sarah and five children Olive, Gladys, Doris, George and Leslie.
