Joseph Thomas's Story
I only found out about Joseph when I researched my family history, I found out that he was issued with the military medal and that he lays in France after being killed in battle on 31 October 1918. I now look at Armistice day in a different way as now I have a personal reason. Joseph was mentioned in despatches for his bravery and I was very lucky to read this information at the South Wales Borderers museum in Brecon.
