Arthur William's Story

I find it very sad that my grandfather survived service with the Suffolk regiment in the Boer War and the Military Foot Police in France throughout the 1914 - 1918 war only to die in a civilian hospital undergoing a routine operation to have his tonsils removed in 1924.

It was because of this that I felt the need to find ou more about this man, which ultimately led to my great interest in Family History. I never knew my grandfather
