Andrew's Story
Today we remember Private Andrew Dougan of the 6th Battaliion, Kings Own Scottish Borderers, who died of wounds received on 5th May 1918, at the Australian Hospital in Boulogne, age 37. He had been employed in the Telephone Department of the General Post Office in Glasgow until July 1917 when he joined the Army. He left a widow and three children. Private Dougan is remembered with honour at the Boulogne Eastern Cemetery in France.
