Victor's Story
10666 Pte Victor Tuck, of the Duke of Wellinton's (West Riding) Regiment, was wounded near Ypres on 8 November 1914, and died of his wounds on 9 November 1914. His body was buried in Ypres but was never recovered after the war.
His name appears on the Menin Gate Memorial, along with nearly 55,000 others who have no known graves. His name also appears on the Memorial at St Stephen Church, Steeton, West Yorkshire.
Born in 1893, Victor was the only son of Isaac and Maria (White) Tuck.
