James Albert's Story

My Great Grandfather was apparently the only Englishman to be awarded the Russian Order of St Anne. He received the honour during the 1914-1918 war. He was a Sergeant-Major of the 21st Lancers. He served for 20 years in the cavalry. He served in Russia, France, Belgium and Flanders.
