Richard George Smith service number 50676 severed in the 2nd
battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment in France and Flanders. Richard died as a prisoner of war in Cassel Germany on 8th September 1918, his body lies in grave reference VIII. J. 15 in the Niederzwehren Cemetary Germany. Richard was my Great Uncle, the brother of my maternal Grandfather
