Frank's Story

Lance Corporal Frank Turner, 4139, born and raised in Hythe, Kent, enlisted age 15 years at the Small Arms School, Hythe, on 12th November 1901. In November 1914 posted missing. He died 17th November 1914, of 'traumatic tetanus' in Reserve Hospital, Halberstadt, Germany. Buried in Niederzwehren Cemetery, Germany.
