Venice Henrietta Clementina's Story

Eldest daughter of Edward Augustus & Emilie Hackett of Castle Armstrong, Ballycumber, King's County, Ireland.

Member of the British Red Cross & Order of St. John (V.A.D.).

Served in France for 2 years until her death on 13 October 1918.

While returning to France from leave, Venice was a passenger on RMS Leinster when it was torpedoed on 10th October 1918. She died of pneumonia 3 days later.
