Edward's Story
Son of Edward and Harriet Newman and beloved Brother of my great Grandmother Ivy.
I was told by my Grandfather that Edward was engaged in heavy fighting in the Somme when he was mortally wounded.
He died in a field hospital in October 1917 at age 26.
