Er's Story
Er Lee died on 31st October 1918 at the age of 26. He was Gunner , "X" 31st Trench Mortar Bty, Royal Field Artillery. His widowed mother received the telegramme of his death on Armistice Day. She had lost her husband aged 41 and a son aged 6. She had one reamining son , Harold, my husband's Grandfather.
