Austin's Story
i have no memory of my grandfather
no memory of my grandfather,he died before i was born.i recollect seeing his war medal,and i know he was a private in the durham light infantry,and i am told that when he returned from the war,sometimes was a little unsure of his family and surroundings,due to suffering being gassed on at least one occassion.that is the only information i have about him,and would like to know if i am correct in the company he served,and what campaign and places he served.
