Harold's Story

Harold, my great uncle, joined up with his twin brother, Leonard, my late grandfather, who survived the war. They joined up under age, therefore either his year of birth or age at death are incorrect.

He joined the Northamptonshire Regiment, served in the Bedfordshire Regiment and was killed whilst serving in the Notts & Derby Regiment. Harold Vorley Jordan, was killed in action 21st March 1918.

His body was never found and his name is commemorated on the Arras Memorial MR20.
