David Anderson's Story

David died just 18 years old and is buried at Bagneaux Cemetery, Gezaincourt. His elder brother was also a casualty of WW1, dying in 1916 in Greece. This only left my Grandmother, Meg Dumma Purves Whitehead, who never got over the loss of her beloved brothers. Their names can be read on the War memorial at North Berwick.
