Sidney John's Story

Sidney emigrated to Canada aged 18 in 1910 and enlisted into the Canadian Expeditionary Force on 21st December 1914. He was killed in action near Hill 60, near Ypres, on 7th June 1916, fighting for the 5th Battalion Canadian Infantry.

He is bured at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
