Andrew's Story
Andrew Wingate was my great-uncle. The son of Andrew and Mary Wingate and the husband of Lizzie Shaw McGarrigle. He died of his wounds just four months after his marriage and is buried in Beveren-Ijzer churchyard in Belgium. At the going down of the sun and in the morning...we will remember him.
