Herbert Ambrose Weston serial number 12388 was a Private in the 5th Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers and killed in action on the 15 Aug 1915 in Gallipoli.
He was my first cousin and the beloved only son of Alice (my fathers eldest sister) and Henry Robert Weston a Master Baker of Islington,London.
I remember vividly my mother and father telling me how devastated his parents were on his death and that they never really ever recovered from their sad loss.
