William John's Story
This was a Granddad who should I have met, but sadly over the years with his injures, and being gassed, it took its toll he died before I was born feel cheated .
God bless you for your duty and Serving your country like many more family members.who died on the battle fields or as prisoners, or like your self from your injures, which is very sad indeed, years later, in great pain and the suffering which no one should go through.
So young and full of life you all should have been.
With the greatest of respect to you all for all our freedom which we have today because of all lost in both world wars from many people around the world.
For the furture generations to come lets hope we can have peace and Granddad and rest of the family members did not die for nothing in the end.
God Bless you all rest in peace.
