Henry George's Story

You are a hero who gave his life to defend Great Britain.

To my grandfather L/CPL Henry George Winch who served in the British Expeditionary Force of the 1/7 Middlesex Regiment 1918: You died on 19 March 1941, 25 years before I was born but you will never be forgotten by me because you are a hero who gave his life to defend Great Britain. You and your brothers may no longer be here, but heroes never die. Your names will never be forgotten and we all owe you our respect and gratitude for our freedom.
