Nathaniel Joe's Story
My grandfather, Nathaniel Joseph Stracey, served in the 5th East Kent Regiment - The Buffs. He was posted to Iraq and India and attained the rank of Acting Corporal.
He survived the war, along with his brothers Albert and John. Unfortunately their younger brother Charles died on the Western Front in 1917.
