Died aged 18 on Saturday, 1st July 1916

Thiepval, Somme, France

Son of William James and Ellen Lewis

58 Rutland St, Belfast

In the theatre of war from 4/10/1915, volunteered to serve his country, underage.

Died like so many brave young men on the first of July 1916 The Somme.

We enjoy the freedoms that he gave his life for.
