Jonathan's Story

Husband of Alice Bonnington, and father of a baby daughter, Ethel. He died at Gommecourt on the Somme on the 14th March 1917, aged 22. His remains were later removed to the Thieval Memorial. His sister was my grandmother, Annie Elizabeth Moate.
