William's Story
William Henry Campbell who was my great uncle, was in the Royal Marine Light Infantry and was on board the R.M.L.I.S.S. 'BAYKERRAN' he was drowned in the loss of the ship off Novia Scotia on Wednesday 23rd January 1918. He is commerated in perpetuity by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission

This was my grandmothers brother and my mother remembers her mother sitting crying holding onto this photograph.
