William's Story
This is my great grandfather who died at Flanders on 14/11/1917.
William John Edwards was born on 25/06/1880 in Mawnan Smith in Cornwall. He left behind a wife and four children. My nanny was his daughter Gwen. She lived until she was in her 90s. She was 11 when her dad died in the war. He is buried at Poelcapelle British Cemetery, plot 12, row A, grave number 9.
