Robert Clark's Story

I did not know my grandfather. My grannie (m/s Janet Baillie) had a picture of him added to a portrait of her and her baby son (Robert - my father) after my grandfather's death. My grandfather was killed in France 11 months after my father was born. She loved him with a great passion and on his death her hair (I am told) turned white with the shock. They had been married almost three years when my grandfather was killed.
