Harry's Story

I believe he was underage when he joined up, he saw action in Northern France and was wounded and repatriated home through Liverpool. I know he had no clothes to travel home in and was given something to wear. When he walked back into Worthing wearing civvy clothes someone gave him a white feather (I know who). He never talked about his experiences to me but I believe that he fought at one battle where my other paternal grandfather also fought. They did not know each other at the time.
