Edwin R's Story
My Great Uncle Edwin Richard Allen born 1984 son of James and Agnes Allen. A private in the 4th Battalion of the Grenadier Guards. Died 16 March 1916 aged 21 of a gun shot to the head from a German sniper. Laid to rest in the Menin Road South Military Cemetery In Belgium
