Screaming Lights are James Connor (drums), Alan Breen (bass), Max Goldberg (guitar) and Jay Treadell (vocals, guitar). Formed at the age of 13, this Liverpool four-piece play V Festival the week before their appearance on the BBC Introducing stage at Reading & Leeds. They've earmarked 2009 as the year they make a big push to get themselves noticed.
To this end, they've completed an album, recorded with Dan Grech-Marguerat [Radiohead/Scissor Sisters, which will be released in October, along with first single, Volts. On stage, their live shows have been known to be volatile affairs, with Jay often attacking his own equipment. If you're into the likes of White Lies, Editors and Interpol, Screaming Lights will be right up your street.
