Come On Gang! are a trio based in Edinburgh. They met at Edinburgh College of Art in 2007 and swiftly set about writing upbeat, danceable tunes full of infectious melodies, brazen guitars and words that bear another listen. Lead singer, Sarah, is also the band's drummer. Her lilting, tuneful voice recalls The Long Blondes' Kate Jackson, but with Mikey on Guitar and Rob on Bass creating an altogether more rowdy backdrop, their sound is their own.
They've already clocked up festival appearances at South by Southwest 2009, T in the Park 2008, Rockness 2009, The Great Escape 09, and Hinterland 2009 and their new double A-side single, Red Thread/Fortune Favours The Brave will be out soon.
