Leeds-based Chickenhawk play big, brutal, avant garde prog metal that's part Refused, part Tool, part Queens of the Stone Age. They've gone through some rapid changes in the last year, with drummer Matt Reid (ex-Whores Whores Whores) joining just as their debut album was due to be released. They've diversified their sound, experimenting with even more powerful, riff-driven prog sounds.
