Ahead of their performance at Reading Festival, a tribute to Gallows live.
The most vibrant and intense punk band in the UK, Gallows have gained a Metal Hammer nomination for Best Live Act. Accord to their blog, they'll be trying out new material exclusively at the festival. Check back on this site for the first reviews.

Thanks very much for your support guys and girls. My Dad just linked me this. I am stoked the BBC described us as the Deathstar.

@ Jacqui - Frank Carter swore through-out his set... awesome energy, craziest frontman ive ever seen! He crowd surfed from the stage to the sound guys at the back, and then the crowds parted "like the Red Sea" so that he could get back.mentallist haha

Having seen gallows last year i said to myself 'allow seeing gallows this year, lets see the killers instead.' However, after seeing alkaline trio and finding a good spot, i decided to stay and see Gallows again. I held not one jot of regret for that decision. When you have a hardcore pit outside the central circular area of the lock up stage that people are being thrown down in amongst other horrors that take place within such pits, that truly is the sign of a band that knows how to entertain its fans to the level of breaking other people's faces around them. They played some new material too, which was a welcome change for both band and fans from playing 'the same twelve f**king songs for the past three years' (quote Frank Carter), and ending with In the Belly of a Shark into Orchestra of Wolves, there was not one person within that circus tent was left not feeling full of punk energy. Ace set, and they outplayed (in my mind) every other band that weekend tenfold.

This was my first time watching Gallows, and I was right at the front for the whole set. I was properly blown away, the energy that they managed to create was amazing. I liked the band before I watched them and I came away loving them. Absolutely amazing.

I've been to Reading for the last 6 years in a row and this was the best band i have ever seen play in the lock up stage (and that's saying a lot!). What a band!

Only Gallows 2008 could top the performance of Gallows 2007 at the Reading and Leeds festivals. This was an hour of high intensity, high quality music and 100% audience participation. Quite simply, there is no better live band inthe UK: Gallows have simply set a new benchmark in performance. The set included brand new songs from their forthcoming album which are already winning favour with hardcore fans. This band is simply amazing.
