Oh no! I suggest ELO as a band to base a show on then, what do you do?...you only give us a choice, then chuck one of most favourite bands ever - The Proclaimers - into the mix! Well, since I suggested them I have to vote for ELO, there are so many good songs to choose from. Going to see The Procs in November anyway so I'll have my very own Proclaimers theme night then (well, me and the rest of The Playhouse Theatre).

I have been a fan of Jeff Lynne ever since his days in The Idle Race then on to The Move and the formation of the Electric Light Orchestra with Roy Wood. I also enjoy the music of Sparks, the Proclaimers, Rod and Echo but my vote has to go to ELO. Great show and thanks to playing so many of my suggestions over the last year especially "Cruel To Be Kind"

Its a hard choice between ELO and the Proclaimers - especially as we probaby won't be near a radio next week - but assuming I can "listen again" I'll have to vote for ELO. I haven't heard any (apart from the tracks you play on the show) since I put my blue vinyl double album "Out of the Blue" in the loft 10 years ago! As a young fiddle player in the 70's, how I longed for a transparent electric violin ... those were the days!

Ohh dear choices ELO were a fine band as are the proclaimers but why no Kinks, Ray Davies is probably one of the greatest songwriters ever to have lived in my humble opinion. Still I would have to vote the Proclaimers and in Particular the song Scotland's story.

I'm with Rab from Moffat - although my choice would be The Bunnymen and the track 'Rescue' because much as I enjoy the others, they probably get played most weeks anyway. I'd suggest the brilliant '10538 Overture' for ELO though - from when Roy Wood was still in the band.
