We hear from an employee of Millets who alleges that his shop slashes then discards faulty or returned items rather than sell them off cheaply. He describes how staff members are asked to cut up clothes and tents. The chief executive of Blacks Leisure Group, which owns Millets, denies the practise goes on and says the company recycles second hand tents for use in poor countries.
