Snowdrops8 Feb 2006
At Morville Hall in Shropshire

Grey skies and cold weather... one of the few cheery sights at this time of year is of a snowdrop, peeking out of the ground - a sure sign that the days will get longer and possibly even warmer.

There are lots of snowdrops at the Dower House garden at Morville Hall in Shropshire. Katherine Swift shows Maggie Ayre how by planting different varieties, you can have a flowering period of up to six months of the year.
