Milk in schools24 Jan 2006
Does milk still matter?

Milk is a food stuff traditionally associated with childhood and many of us remember those little glass bottles of the over warm white stuff at morning playtime. But is it time to reassess its place in children's diet? The Government has just announced they're going to continue to subsidise it in schools, against expert advice.

Dr Stephen Walsh, The Vegan Society and Tom Sanders, Professor of Nutrition & Dietetics join Jenni to dicuss if The Government are simply wary of being labelled milk snatchers or is milk still a fantastic food stuff to be giving the next generation?
