Gordon Brown and his wife Sarah are expecting another baby; he is only the latest of a series of male politicians who have referred to nappy-changing or bath time in their interviews and speeches.
Jenni asks - does this represent a positive sea-change in mainstream politics, with the Renaissance man now becoming acceptable? Or is it rather just the latest rhetorical gimic, with men trumpeting their childcare responsibilities in order to gain political capital?
