On her £28,000 violin made in the time of Vivaldi
Julia Bishop is a musician whose violin costs more than a sports car. Crafted by two Italian brothers in 1741 it's her pride and joy - she took out two loans in order to be able to pay for it. Not surprisingly she takes it everywhere with her, rarely letting it out of her sight. She plays with the quartet Red Priest - the group's title comes from the nickname given to Vivaldi - who died in the same year Julia's violin was made.
