What we should and shouldn't wear

With the sales now on you might be tempted to try a new fashion style but whether it’s a catsuit, a puff ball skirt or a Kaftan we all have fashion mistakes we wish we hadn’t made. But as time goes on, how is it that those terrible knickerbockers turn into fashionable shorts for 2005?

It’s time to dig out those boob tubes and kipper ties because Jenni speaks to Catherine Horwood author of Worst Fashions: What we shouldn’t have worn…but did, and Tamasin Doe Fashion Director of In Style Magazine about some of those classic fashion faux pas. Why do our tastes vary so greatly form decade to decade, and is there such a thing as timeless good style?
